i have have external links on my website. for example; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fgt2562j
can i rewrite that with htaccess to http://www.youtube.com/v/Fgt2562j ???

I have absolutly no understanding of htaccess but i gave it a try,

RewriteRule ^www.youtube.com/watch?v=([a-zA-Z0-9_-]+) http://www.youtube.com/v/$1

That didnt work, anny suggestions?
