What do you mean access? Access by cgi/perl/php/mod_rewrite?

I'm using PHP. What happens is that my script will only use a directory in the root directory of the script. Sample. If my script is in this directory

http://www.domain.com/fileboss
and the files that are available for download are in /fileboss/files

How do I change that so it reads g:/files

All I'm trying to do is change the directory that the files are stored on.
