Domain To Subdomain and Another Sub Domain with No Redirect?

Hi all

As a complete newbie to .htaccess files i need some help,

I have a domain that i need to redirect to a subdomain on another ip address, that i can do no probs... BUT!!

I need a sub domain of the domain to stay as the subdomain ie. (thats sounds terribly complicated to me and i know what i mean!!) heres an example:-

http: // www. mydomain. com goes to http: // shop. mydomain. com (on a different ip address, this subdomain is setup and working) but

http: // blog. mydomain. com to got to the subfolder of http: // mydomain. com (this has a wordpress blog in it).

Hope that makes sense, i am pretty sure it needs some conditional stuff but i cant get it to work at all!!

Whats your current .htaccess files and folder structure?



And are you saying that a request for http://www.domain.com is redirected to shop.domain.com?

We'll need all this info if you want a solution fast.
